HRamp Up was founded in 2021 by Dana Schmidt, a highly skilled business and nonprofit executive. He founded the company on the belief that the traditional Human Resources (HR) consulting model was outdated and largely ineffective.
Dana witnessed HR practitioners providing solutions that were solely transactional in nature, unscalable from a technological standpoint and repeated under very different circumstances. These “carbon copy” transactions often decreased employee engagement, reduced productivity, lessened organizational agility and stifled innovation.
Throughout the years, Dana piloted various methods to evolve the HR model. After a series of trials and errors, he successfully executed on his vision by, in part, applying a broad business and technological perspective to the model. It is this rare combination of business knowledge, technological adeptness and deep human resources expertise that sets HRamp Up apart from traditional HR consulting firms.
